Description
You are bidding on a pair of handmade ScottyBob skis with Bishop Bomber billet aluminum bindings. ScottyBob considers the length to be 181cm. I would say they ski/feel like a 176-178cm conventional ski. I purchased them new in 2005. I personally selected the top sheet and components with Scotty Bob himself during a guided trip to Silverthone Mountain. I received the skis in April 2005 and skied them once that spring at A-Basin. I was then transferred from Colorado to New Jersey, where I have since had little time to ski due to work and a new baby. All told, these skis have been ridden a total of three times (twice in Vermont). For those familiar with the ski, you already know what a work of art they are. I can attest that they ski as well as they look. The Bishop Bomber binding is also a work of art and puts a tremendous amount of power to the ski. I ski a T1 Scarpa boot and the combo is very strong. The back of the binding is even designed as a bottle opener, how cool is that! The dimensions of this ski are about 135mm in the tip and 77mm under foot. They will work well anywhere and I bought this model ski for their versatility. These are not one of ScottyBob’s big powder boards. They handle ice and hardpack quite well and they did great when I skied them on A-Basin’s sprtingtime freeze/thaw crud. The top sheet has one mark on the right ski behind the binding (about 3/4”). The bases have one surface mark about 1” long on one board. Otherwise, the boards are basically in brand new condition. All they need is a fresh coat of wax for the season. Ship to Continental US only.
